Blastrac surface preparation equipment offers the major benefit of being dust free when connected to a Blastrac dust collector because of their local exhaust ventilation. Industrial dust collectors are very important because it expands the possibilities and application fields where Blastrac equipment can be used, especially in areas where dust would not be tolerated, or where the dust could have hazardous implications such as asbestos removal, lead paint removal and nuclear decommissioning. Blastrac has developed a range of dust collectors with specific characteristic to work to their optimum performance, and also to employ absolute H14 HEPA filters for total safety when used on hazardous materials.

DO NOT FORGET TO USE A DUST COLLECTOR

All Blastrac equipment is equipped as standard with local exhaust ventilation. It means you are able to work dust free when connected to a Blastrac dust collector, which collects all the dust and other small hazardous particles that are released during the surface preparation process. Blastrac dust collection systems aim to create a safe working environment for operators and people in their vicinity when grinding, scarifying or shot blasting. Using performing dust collectors is the only way to protect your operators against crystalline silica dust and all other hazardous dust.

DUST COLLECTORS AND PRE-SEPARATORS

Blastrac’s compact dust collectors are made up of one single unit. Our dust collections systems can be equipped with both an M-class filter and a H14 HEPA filter for total safety when used on hazardous materials. In addition, Blastrac dust collectors all come standard with the Longopac bagging system, which is easy to mount and handle and makes sure operators are not in contact with the dust.

Blastrac pre-separators can triple the lifetime of the filters because it captures 80-90% of dust before it goes into the dust collector. Pre-separators are positioned between the machine and the dust collector. It also prevents reduction in the suction performance of the dust collector. All Blastrac pre-separators are equipped with a Longopac bagging system which is easy to mount and handle.

USER FRIENDLY

Easy to manoeuvre and transport due to the robust wheels with brake systems. User friendly design, just connect the hose to the dust collector and you are ready to go.

SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Every Blastrac machine has to be connected to a Blastrac industrial dust collector. This means that you are able to work dust free, creating a safe working environment.

FOR HEAVY DUTY WORK

Our range of dust collectors is especially created to be connected to our surface preparation machines. The high suction power, filter options and large dust bin/bag capacity make sure that all dust is safely collected.

OSHA COMPLIANCE

Our dust collectors are made to comply with OSHA’s Respirable Crystalline Silica Standard for construction, containing a filter-cleaning mechanism and a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter of at least 99.97 percent efficiency in removing mono-dispersed particles of 0.3 micrometers in diameter.

CONTINUOUSLY WORKING

Limited downtime is essential for any successful job. Our dust collection systems are especially designed to reduce as much as possible these downtimes.

MULTIPLE FILTRATION OPTIONS

Our range of dust collectors offers multiple filtration options in order to suit all your needs and to protect the health & safety of the operators. ………………………………………………………

BAGGING SYSTEM

Our Longopac system allows you to collect the dust in easy to handle packages of 25 kg without dispersing dust. The tubelike bagging system is dust free since the bags are replaced and sealed from the outside – no contact with the waste.

GREEN TECHNOLOGY

Our dust collectors, like any other Blastrac machine, do not use any chemicals or waste valuable drinking water.…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
